Perhaps, possible, presumption, etc. Same old fishing expedition.
When dealing with Russian surveillance capabilities the assumption is always that they are onto anything intelligence thinks they could be. Intercepting cell phone signals is as childishly simple as trump is refusing to upgrade his phone to newer technology that has built in state of the art encryption. Of course his reason has only to do with the learning curve of a new phone and his comfort with the old one. This president is a security nightmare in all regards...including intelligence not being able to tell him anything they don't want to get to Putin...which is made easier because he doesn't have enough attention span to want to know anything serious anyway.
This country's security nightmare involves what intelligence is supposed to do when trump wants to know something highly classified about Russia, when the reason he wants to know it is because Putin wants to know.
