The SMART thing for them to do would be to simply censure Trump and move on. That gives him a stain on his presidency by showing the world that the House didn't approve of his methods. That also prevents a trial in the Senate, and also puts an end to all of this that has been going on----and I am pretty sure most Americans are tired of it by now. Let it play out in 2020----if he continues to do foolish things, he won't be re-elected----the people will decide for themselves.
