Somehow I don't see Trump as a bird of a feather even with the likes of those biblical sinners you mentioned. But I will yield to your reasoning that the Lord does act in mysterious ways to fulfill His wishes.

One only need to remember that God is infallible and does not make mistakes. Since God allowed Trump to ascend to the WH, you can rest assured part of the reasoning would be to present a perfect example of how God does Not want man to conduct himself....deliberate adultery, fornication with porn stars, habitual and incessant lying, theft, racial discrimination, etc., etc., are not the qualities God approves of in mankind - Trump daily demonstrates those negative characteristics - with no outward signs of any remorse or repentance. But remember -God doesn't make mistakes.
Those who claim Trump was chosen by God overlook that God allowed many "kings" to rule over His chosen people Israel, and many of those kings were flawed heathens. God demonstrated for Israel what can happen when the people turn from God and praise a flawed man over the principles of God. period.

Yes that is very true..."we all fall way short of the glory of God." However, the key to salvation is found in having the fortitude to admit when we fall short, to ask God for forgiveness, and to CHANGE our behavior.
I don't know if Trump ever confesses his sins to God, but it is blatantly apparent that he has NOT changed his behavior as he continues to lie nearly every day. God knows that alone we can do nothing. God knows that we are all prone to make mistakes. What God expects is that we have the good sense to lean on Him, to seek Him out, and to do our best to be the best example of Jesus Christ that we as humans can be. Everything else is secondary.

The disciples of Jesus, the Pharisees and Sadducees (<the keepers and teachers of the "law") were all regular men -who were sinners. Jesus gave the disciples the power to cast out demons, heal illnesses, and teach the masses. Part of teaching involves "correction" and often discipline. You are using the wrong 'instruction' in your attempt to refute what I share.
