Oh happy day when Jesus walked.
Elaborate!
Are you speaking of today when Jesus walks through heaven in His glorified resurrection body?
Are you speaking of the thirty three years when He walked the earth, as both the Son of God and the son of man?
Are you speaking of the centuries of the Old Testament when Jesus made earthly visitations and walked the earth as the Angel of the Lord?

Did you misspeak? There is a song that says oh happy day when Jesus washed all my sins away.

It is from Godspell, where I also heard the finest prayer: "To see thee more clearly, Love thee more dearly, Follow thee more nearly, Day by day." Is there more to prayer than that?

I used to get up for four years at 4AM. I called it the time when Jesus walked. It was watching the coming out of the darkness to see the beauty, peace, hope grow with the dawning light...and then the delivered Sun, with its warmth and life giving character.
Just before dawn, the entire world is cast in a grey/silver glow:
Astronomical dawn
This is the time at which the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon in the morning. Astronomical dawn is that point in time at which the sun starts lightening the sky. Prior to this time, the sky is completely dark.
Nautical dawn
This is the time at which the sun is 12 degrees below the horizon in the morning. Nautical dawn is defined as that time at which there is just enough sunlight for objects to be distiguishable.
Dawn or Civil dawn
This is the time at which the sun is 6 degrees below the horizon in the morning. Civil dawn is defined as that time at which there is enough light for objects to be distiguishable and that outdoor activities can commence.
If I had ever risen at four A.M., during my years of employment, I would have thrown rocks at the sunrise, thanked God I didn't have to stay up, and promptly returned to bed.

I like my description better, but thank you.
Your description is decidedly more beautiful by invoking the image of Jesus Christ, as well as being heartfelt.
Having never been a "morning person," any beauty I would attempt to convey would be cut and paste, and lack sincerity.
