I think a study of the "Islamization" of Europe would be beneficial in understanding what lies in store for America in the decades ahead. We are doing many of the same things that have brought Europe into the Post Christian era, causing the Cathedrals to become museums or mosques. We might find that our pre-occupation with material wealth and "the good life" has left a vacuum to be filled with other beliefs and values. Europe's metamorphosis is a few decades ahead of the US. Perhaps this isn't the premise of this thread but nevertheless a side issue which is almost certain to happen with our current culture change.
