Indeed, he was a true gentleman in every sense of the term. I wondered why he had not responded to my emails.....I knew his health was an issue and am glad his big fear never materialized. He did not want to be "carted" off to a "old folks home." I will miss him, but perhaps we will meet again on the other side. He and I joked about it....whomever arrived first would hold a spot on a bank near the stream. May he rest in peace.
