Hey Trump shut your GD mouth or show up with your advisors and testify if you have done everything perfect.

Getting sick and tired of you and the Republican Party spreading Russian propaganda.

Report: Durham investigation grows to include Pentagon office that hired FBI spy Stephan Halper

U.S. Attorney John Durham has expanded his investigation into possible misconduct by the FBI to include the Pentagon’s Office of Net Assessment, which contracted FBI informant Stephan Halper multiple times to spy on President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign advisers, including Carter Page, investigative reporter Sara A. Carter has discovered.

News that the Durham probe had turned criminal broke in October. According to Fox News, the special prosecutor is looking into whether the FBI and other agencies broke the law when obtaining warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to spy on President Trump during his campaign and in the early days of his presidency, as well as other methods used in the FBI’s anti-Trump investigation.

Multiple sources told Carter that Durham has spoken at length with numerous employees in the Office of Net Assessment, along with contractors who worked for the Pentagon during the FBI’s investigation into Trump.

Durham’s investigation parallels Justice Department Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz’s ongoing investigation into the origins of the Trump–Russia collusion probe. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced on Fox’s Hannity Wednesday night that Horowitz’s long-awaited report would be released to the public on Dec. 9.

Halper and Carter Page
For his part, Halper was a central figure in the investigations into Carter Page and George Papadopolous, both of whom worked with Trump’s campaign in 2016. There have been allegations that Halper secretly recorded conversations with Page and Papadopolous, but no recordings were ever submitted to the FISA court.

Now, some are wondering whether those recordings, if they exist, contained exculpatory evidence that could have helped Page and Papadopolous fight their prosecutions. Both men were suspected of having ties to Russia, or at least sympathies with Russian interests.

The Justice Department IG’s office has already said that Halper did not keep the correct records about his work for the Office of Net Assessment. In addition, records that were requested by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) in July were only given to the committee last week.

The investigation recently turned up the fact that an FBI official altered a FISA document substantially in the process of obtaining warrants to spy on Page, according to The Daily Beast. The document was reportedly altered enough to change its meaning.

Criminal prosecutions coming?
The right has long felt that the way Trump was investigated — first by the FBI and then by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller — wasn’t right. Now, there may be evidence that it wasn’t even legal.

The press and the left decried Trump’s characterization of the investigation into him as a “witch hunt,” but it’s looking more and more like, at the very least, “Deep State” operatives twisted rules and statutes in order to dig around and see if they could find any dirt on Trump or his advisers.

If they did break even the most minor law in establishing this investigation, let’s hope the Justice Department does its part to preserve some semblance of fairness about e******ns in this country and prosecutes these bad actors to the fullest extent of the law.

There is a very real risk of the United States descending to banana-republic status if we let Democrats get away with their attempts to overturn a fair and l********e e******n by railroading Trump out of office.
