I know Thanksgiving is next week,but it's never too early to start thanking people!! I'm thankful for my mom,my son,for my friends and my new friends on OPP!! I'm also thankful for our President Trump! So what are you thankful for??

I am thankful for you, always a welcome relief from the large amount of misguided hatred exhibited on OPP.

I am grateful for growing up on a small farm, learning true values necessary for human existence, for being taught respect for myself, others, all nature, learning early on there is no free lunch, sharing food w/ others when we barely had enough for ourselves, for getting spanked when I needed it, for being born in The South, being discriminated against but not letting it bother me, for being shaped more like an orangutan than a human but using it to my advantage, grateful for the few friends, family I have left, grateful for the few enemies I have left, grateful for being born in America, for being taught what a special gift that is.

I am most grateful for being raised to believe in God & His gift to me of the wonderful woman who married me 27 years ago, which still seems like yesterday.

I turned 71 Nov. 21. We are not rich, have to watch our money, but still give the same amount to local charities we have volunteered in & supported for years. We still feed stray animals, wild animals. We have never regretted the way we have lived, always knew loans we made were gifts.

We do not agree with the direction this country is headed & never will give in. We believe we have a right, by being born in America, to do that. We pray for America ever night.
