many more blessings on all of his creation this Thanksgiving Season.

I believe His answer is yes unless we’re asking for something actually harmful to ourselves or others. Sometimes the purpose of an apparent no is to break an unhealthy attachment to and/or dependence on, something other than God. On very rare occasion, it’s a trial intended to effect spiritual growth.
Often His yes is not to what we want but a yes to:
Teaching us to trust Him.
Teaching us rely on Him.
A lesson on following His wisdom.
The grace of developing our wisdom.
Giving us the strength to endure.
Consolation.
All these things, and more, are still a yes.

Happy Thanksgiving, DM,
I see you joined OPP in July, so welcome aboard. Those 4 months are enough, though, to see what the 2 main topics are, namely, Trump h**e or someone's misrepresentation of Jesus, God, the Holy spirit, or the Bible.
I think you are referring to saspatzoo7.
This statement cleared it all up for me;

I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear. Our prayers were answered. Just not in a way that some people might think. Sometimes it’s answered in more subtle ways. Far from weakening the faith of our family the experience strengthened it.
I agree with you except when you say that God says No. John 14:13 says...“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” I think we see answers to prayer only through our limited linear thought processes, not with the insight of the Father who sees past, present, and future as we see the now moment. I may be wrong but I can't bring to mind any time that God said NO. If you know of any, please tell me where so that I can study it.
