In spite of all their bloviating for the benefit of their base Democrts in Congress would love a way out of this. They fear the upcoming report to be released in December and information is already out of the deliberate lying to obtain FISA warrants. They know If an impeachment v**e were held right now not only would there be no Republican v**es for it not even all Democrats would v**e for it. they also fear a fair hearing in the Senate when Schiff and others will be called to testify. Their way out may be to issue a report of how horrible Trump is but they are not going to v**e on impeachment because the awul Republicans care more about protecting Trump than they do the country. In other words they will do what they always do and try to make themselves look noble and the other party look evil even though the opposite is true. Their out is to fall back on the Alinsky playbook.

Trump says he hopes there is a trial in the Senate. That alone should make the dems want to do the opposite, since nancy doesn't like to give him what he wants.
I kinda hope so, too, though. Would love to see that snot-nosed weasel, Vindman, face the Senate Judiciary. Shifty won't be able to protect him .. or any of the other witnesses ... from the mean old Republicans who want to ask the hard questions that matter. Plus would love to hear what the whistleblower has to say and how much influence Vindman .... and shifty's office ... had on his complaint ... and when this plot was hatched ... cuz according to the wb's lawyer, the "c**p" began in November 2016, with "impeachment to follow" .....

I think the Senate ought to go ahead with an "investigation" even if the House doesn't v**e to impeach .... you know, "investigate the investigators" to show how this thing got started and how nancy and shifty wasted time and money and did nothing else during this sham investigation .....
