CNN posted an interesting article where they posit that Sondland testified that Trump didn't care if the investigations were done, just the announcement of them.
Hmm. Who was it that said, on that phone call in the restaurant, that Trump asked if they were going to do the investigations, to which Sondland said they would do anything for Trump?? Now who was that?
The president didn't ask if they were going to announce the investigations. He asked if they were going to do them.

I do think it will come to nothing. It seems obvious that the end product of their efforts isn't to remove Trump but to win in 2020. And like you, this shouldn't be allowed to continue but hey, what goes around comes around. There is karma to consider!
