No. It is not the meal but the gathering, and doing it ritualistically binds the generations. We need to keep traditions: it is a legacy of our family, all those that came before us and will come. Mange all! for the glory of family and togetherness. Remember it is not about Black Friday deals, well, not totally; it is about the generations seeing our binding love. We are family is sacred.

My cousin is unable to enjoy thanksgiving because the greed heads where she works insist on keeping open to enable the worst in our socoiety to descend like rabid jackals to battle on occasion to death over a hand full of discounted bobbles when they should be at home with family.
