Are Liberals Trying to End Free Speech?
What’s more American than freedom of speech? It’s the one value that most of us agree on and that our soldiers fought for. It’s our birthright to say anything we believe is true.
It’s who we distinctively are as Americans.
In fact, freedom of speech is more American than apple pie — at least it was.
In another lifetime, Liberals were traditionally the most ardent protectors of freedom of speech.

In 1977, the American Civil Liberties Union, or ACLU, defended the right of N**is when they marched through a Jewish neighborhood located in Skokie, Ill. In the 1990s, they were against campaign finance laws because they would hurt free speech.
Judges have consistently ruled that free speech is to be protected. It’s a cherished and unique right among the nations of the world.
What Changed?
Over the last twenty years, there’s been a fast shift from protecting freedom of speech to condemning it.
As soon as Liberals got control of the federal bureaucracy, education and the universities, they began teaching that freedom of speech was a threat and that it was immoral.

Sadly, young people have started to believe it.
According to a recent study by Campaign for Free Speech, 51% of respondents said the freedom of speech amendment is outdated and should be rewritten and 48% believe h**e speech should be illegal.
There has been a wave of intolerance by Liberals against anyone who believes differently than they do on virtually any issue. If you don’t believe the way they do you are either a r****t, a bigot, a homophobe or one of the other pejoratives they can think up.
Ultimately, the goal of Liberals is not to protect freedom of speech, it’s to ban speech they don’t agree with.

Violence at Liberal Universities
Liberal students at colleges and universities across America have been trying to ban conservatives from speaking for several years. In some cases, they’ve been successful or they are so disruptive that the speaker is in some way threatened and has to leave.
Just recently, students at Northwestern University protested a speech by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. They chanted, “No justice. No peace. Abolish I-C-E!”
The problem wasn’t the protest — that’s a protected right too — it was an apology from the school newspaper for covering the event and for essentially hurting students’ feelings.
The paper wrote the following:
“We recognize that we contributed to the harm students experienced, and we wanted to apologize for and address the mistakes that we made that night.”
To be clear, no one was physically hurt, so what was the “harm?”
The dean of the school did acknowledge the bad behavior by Liberal students:
“I am deeply troubled by the vicious bullying and badgering that the students responsible for that coverage have endured for the ‘sin’ of doing journalism.”
Unfortunately, this bad behavior isn’t isolated on campuses across the country.
Liberals Attempt to Bully and Silence Business Owners, Religious Leaders and Scientists
As people graduate from schools that have taught them this behavior, they are beginning to show signs of strength among activists and lawyers.
Over the last few years, Liberal activists, lawyers and judges have attempted to violate the rights of a baker who refused to make a cake for a gay wedding because of his religious beliefs. How about The Little Sisters of the Poor — nuns who were forced to provide birth control pills over their religious objections under the Affordable Care Act. Or, a case where California law forced healthcare providers to inform patients where they could get inexpensive or free a******ns against their mission statements and beliefs.
In the c*****e c****e debate, some Liberals have suggested that anyone who doesn’t believe them ought to be punished criminally as c*****e c****e deniers. But, what about the scientists who don’t find evidence or agree with their colleagues? Are they criminals, too?
In all of these cases, the question is who gets to have free speech and who doesn’t?
Intimidating and Silencing Conservatives Is Just Getting Started
Intimidation and bullying tactics are at a new low for Liberals. From everyday people to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, to President Trump — Liberals are attempting to end your right to free speech, and due process along with it, to accomplish their political and personal agendas.
To justify silencing those Liberals don’t agree with, Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan set the example when she made the accusation that conservatives “were weaponizing the First Amendment.”
If you agree with Liberals, you have the right to speak freely. However, if you don’t, you have a legal, ethical and moral problem, and your rights don’t matter.

It will be a very Cold and Windy Day in Hell, before these Crazy Liberal's ever tell me ,that i can't Speak what I feel!!!!. They don't Own Me. They are DEFINITELY trying to curb free speech. That's what "political correctness" was all about. To soften us up for censorship
