I'm not a musician. I have always marvelled at different people coming together to make one beautiful sound. Symphonies blow my mind.
Mark and Tom had that "Thing"...Who knew ?
What wonderful and miraculous creatures we are.

Nothing wrong with a heart and soul that great music and pipes can move!

I always wanted to hear David play his harp and soothe my soul.

Well, you're a guitar nut. I just know what I like! My ears are extensions of my taste buds. I either enjoy it or I don't. I can't believe all the good music in every genre I've been blessed to hear. I'm even starting to enjoy some opera and rap and that has never happened before and I still love old Jimmie Rodgers tunes even if they snap, crackle and pop. I can't read music and know nothing about how to arrange it but I'm grateful to those who can. I can't cook either but I enjoy eating a great meal. The two are very much alike in so many ways, they both feed the soul. Hard rock is still just noise to me, most of the time. Like trying to eat my own cooking and ends up tossed in the garbage.

I'm more eclectic music-wise than I used to be. I rebelled against Ray Price and Johnny Cash and since have repented in dust and ashes. I h**ed ACDC, Tom Jones, Sawyer Brown, Judas Priest, James Darrin, Cyndie Lauper...and now I don't.

Eek! Blasphemer, forty lashes with a wet noodle. I understand I'm guilty in the opposite direction. How anyone could not love "For the Good Times" by Ray Price is beyond me. Maybe you were just at that rebellious stage?

I spent time at Patmos for dissing Ray Price.

I was about 10 and my folks liked him.
