Open hearing, is a window dressing pretending to display to the open world. There is no balance of power, Schitt is the judge, the prosecutor, and the witness. The minority party could not present their witnesses, could not question the whistle blower (actually not a whistle blower but a spy agent), the minority party could not present its own argument to rebut Schitt's claims for impeachment. But the fact of the matter is there are no valid claims for impeachment but a fabricated h**x presented for trial. Impeachment is only for Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
Schitt removed the words quid-pro-quo and replaced with phrase to bribery in order to meet his justification for impeachment.

Fact of the matter is I could not stand watching the trial going on at the very moment. I have to get away for the meantime, go upstairs to relieve my stress. Imagine, that demon Schitt acting as the Judge, the prosecutor, the witness at the same time. I believe he briefed his witnesses before now delivering their answers that meet all the desired goals of Schitt. All of them have been rehearsed what to answer.
The minority party are not allowed to present witnesses, nor question and interrogate the whistle blowers. Perhaps few minutes only but the majority members are given so much time to question their own witnesses with their rehearsed answers delivered to the public.
Even Jim Jordan was assigned by Schitt at the end with only 5 minutes allotted for interrogation.
This is a c*******t trial by Schitt in order to achieve his desires to punish the president because of Schitt's hatred for the president.
I hope the Senate will nullify results of this hearing. It is not done in fair process.
