This may appear a bit unusual for me, but I tend to agree with a lot you wrote. However, it is not the one style of gun that is the problem. We are not gift wrapping any gun for assassination purposes. What we are gift wrapping is the psychotic, hallucinogenic drugs that our doctors, and pharmaceutical drug pushers, are misusing and making misuse of them so easy. Attacking guns is attacking the wrong target! Most of these insane shooters were on drugs given to them by doctors by prescriptions. We are letting big pharma and big medicine turn our children to insane junkies who can't differentiate between a violent video game or violent socialist training movie from Hollywood and real life. Our Public Indoctrination System, most times referred to as Public Education System, is also promoting Socialistic philosophies that have, throughout history, been shown to be failures. Sanctuary cities are a shameful example of Democratic lack of sound leadership. Open borders, multilingualism, m**************m, political correctness, f**grant disregard for our Constitution and the rule of law, and rampant diversity, are other signs of mental sickness in the USA.

As far as these active shooter situations that have sprung up ever since your side's war on Judeo-Christianity began and your side turned our schools into social engineering plants, the left is merely using these tragedies as another excuse to disarm the people.

Fully automatic weapons are pretty hard to come by if you're not in the military, and they should be. It is not the fault of legitimate gun manufacturers that some psycho uses their product for horrible atrocities. They are not gift wrapping any guns for assassination purposes. What we are gift wrapping is the psychotic, hallucinogenic drugs that our doctors, and pharmaceutical drug pushers, are misusing, and making misuse of them so easy. We promote soft targets, like "Gun Free Zones," and falsely expect them to reduce gun violence, even though it has been clearly shown that they encourage violent actions. Alcohol abuse causes more problems than weapons abuse but people still drink it, although some are irresponsible about it just like they are with guns. Attacking guns, or weapons, or firearms, for gun violence is attacking the wrong target! Drugs are driving the USA crazy, not guns! Go to the source, don't keep screwing with the symptoms just trying to make everyone "feel better!"

Hollywood is nearly all liberal, and promotes their agenda; they haven't produced but two or three decent movies for nearly five decades, yet my children and grandchildren can come closer to quoting the names and acts of movie actors than telling me how the government works, what the Constitution says, or what President Trump has done FOR the USA, and that's a damned crying shame!

Some Urbanites have no idea that much of the meat (beef, pork, lamb) in the grocery cases or the milk on the grocery shelves comes from a cow, steer, pig, or sheep, raised in "fly-over country, even though they see cowboys, sheep herders, and ranchers on their TVs!" Many coastal dwellers fear traveling on the ground through "fly-over country" because they can't see what they're breathing!

Most everyone in "fly-over country" knows what a gun is, a tool, and knows how to use it; many urbanites only see guns used for crimes committed by gangs and bank robbers, are told guns are the most terrible thing on the planet, and are not trained to use guns, so they are afraid of them.

A Gun Safety and Operations course should be mandatory and taught in every grade school, without discrimination by race, sex, or religion! The Hell of our current situation is that if we allow the Progressive Deep State operatives to ban guns, then only outlaws will have guns, and law abiding citizens and children will be unable to defend themselves against those outlaws with guns! However, that fits the general Progressive agenda to disarm the populous to make it easier to take over the country and eliminate those who oppose their philosophy, as history has shown.

Our "Public Indoctrination System," most often referred to as "Public Education System," is diligently promoting Socialistic philosophies that have, throughout history, been shown to be failures, as a good way to live. Well, it isn't. Sanctuary cities, like San Francisco, are a shameful example of Democratic lack of sound leadership. Open borders, multilingualism, m**************m, political correctness, f**grant disregard for our Constitution and the rule of law, and rampant diversity, all Democratic ideas, are other signs of mental decadence in the USA, and are being used to increase the number of Democratic v**ers to eventually overwhelm the v****g system and o*******w our Sovereign Republic.

THIS IS WHY I SAY WE ARE ATTACKING THE WRONG TARGET! Guns are just a tool; the way the tool is used is up to the PERSON, sane or insane, USING THE TOOL. Whenever some sicko psycho decides to k**l one person, or a group of people, he/she will find a tool to accomplish their task regardless of whether a gun is available or not!

Attack the perpetrator, not the tool, if you want results! Have a nice day!

One more response to your post: None, repeat none of the items I listed were regulated when they were weaponized. The fertilizer involved in the OKC bombing didn't become a federally controlled explosive until a few years after DHS was formed, around 2008. To the best of my knowledge, pressure cookers have never been classified as controlled explosive agents, nor have utility knives, etc.
