I have been writing posts saying that it was going to come out that withholding military aid to the Ukraine was all about Russia and not giving them the high tech anti tank weapons that would wreak havoc with Putin's tanks.

When Congress authorized military aid to the Ukraine it was with the full understanding that it was not going to make Putin happy that his mercenary forces could be wasted with US military support. This is and was a proxy war being fought between our strategic ally the Ukraine, and Putin's mercenary army that he was denying he knew anything about, even though they were massing Russian tanks for an assault on the eastern region.

Trump and Mulvaney went against the interests of our country's national security interests, and aided and abetted the enemy of our ally. This came out Monday, and I'm sure it will have many corroborative references as trump administration people cooperate with their version of this. In the absence of even denials or evidence that supports Trump did nothing wrong, we are left with the evidence he and others did. If he has a narrative that supports that he did nothing wrong he better get with it. This isn't about perfectly innocent phone calls or a second hand whistleblower anymore...

What do you call acting in the opposite way that our national security interests are best served, and doing the thing that is not in our best interests but the interests of our allies enemy? I know what patriots call it, what do people who think they are the patriots call it?
