So am I, but for how many years ? The generations behind us are over educated morons. Once we are gone, I fear this country will go the way of all great empires.

God has seen fit to, as you say keep me on my toes, with various friends and family going through hard times. Unfortunately I am not always in position or have the needed knowledge to provide what is needed. It sucks getting older. And the things I do know, I wish I didn't. So what ever you do, don't tell me any secrets. Fortunately my memory isn't what it once was.

I am a history fanatic. I always try to figure out why great civilizations collapse. Sometimes they are conquered by new powers, but mostly they rot from the inside first. Then all the Barbarians need do is kick in the front door and watch the structure fall over. Sooner or later a new generation always comes along that has no clue how their fathers and grandfathers built what they inherited.
From the mid 20th century a group of determined l*****t parasites have set about destroying American history as taught in colleges and high schools. Our younger generation has no idea how great their history is. Only the negative aspects are taught to them by their C*******t Instructors.
Add to that the cultural rot that brought us T*********red restrooms and sports, gay marriage, and the Obama Presidency and I have every reason to be negative. The Trump Presidency, welcome as it is, seems only a temporary reprieve from the inevitable march of history.
