Donkeys…Democrats… Donkeys…Democrats
I recently posted a link to a U-Tube video about Donkeys and today after
watching Fox news this morning I got to thinking about the use of the Donkey to represent the Democratic Party and how unfair it is to the Donkeys of the world.
Donkeys…for thousands of years have been hard working, beautiful, intelligent loyal beast of burden for humans. We have Donkeys to thank for the advancements made in the evolution of humans of all races due to their hard work. I have been trying to decide what would be a more fitting representative for the Democratic Party than the beautiful Donkey.
The first that came to mind was the Lyrebird because it’s name automatically brings Democrats to mind. Then I considered ticks or the l***h since they’re both blood suckers. That brought to mind the “Bed Bug”, they are also blood suckers and they don’t care what or whose bed they are in. Typical Democratic trait. Others that have came to mind: hyena, sloth, pack rat. Various species with both 4 legs and 6 legs came to mind then I realized that legs are not necessary so the representative could also be a “snake”.
OK so how about some suggestions from you people on OPP no matter what your political affiliation is, offer some suggestions to save the Donkey from the embarrassment of being tethered to the Democratic Party.

I rather like Bedbugs. They truly represent Democrats who get in bed with everyone bent on sucking the blood out of America. Not original but fitting.
