This is the stage where the idea, the goal, is to find out the things we don't know. Republicans, even in a minority do have a chance to ask legitimate questions that shine more light on a situation.

The facts coming out are damaging, enough so that republicans have no questions they want to know the answers to. The t***h is not Trump's friend here. That said republicans are supposed to be listening to the facts that come out and formulating appropriate responses based on the rule of law, not blind defenses for the president.

Lindsey Graham, the leader of his committee has said he is not reading transcripts, he has already made up his mind that this is all BS. I'm of the opinion that he would have to be following the facts before making ridiculous calls like that. This is the clown show.

I agree with both of the last two statements...

There are some Republicans who should be in irons...and tens of thousands of sealed indictments...

...everyone knows it now...

...if I'd been a bad boy in government service I'd be worried...

...maybe my indictment will remain sealed if I play ball...

Show us some testimony that is concrete fact.

Intelligence committees are tasked to oversee U.S. espionage affairs and address spook agencies' annual budgetary requests, not investigate American presidents with an eye toward impeachment.

This is a bush league version of weaponizing a House committee the way Obama weaponized his cabinet secretaries' departments, nothing more.

Oh, come now there is nothing that would ever be "concrete" enough for you to believe that Trump did any wrong. There simply is nothing Trump can do that you people will find any fault with. So what's the point? Read the transcript. Trump told him who he wanted to be investigated. If you have no problem with it there are no facts that can alter how you believe...

Graham seems to like the limelight, seemingly oblivious that the limelight in this situation is becoming increasingly radioactive.

I would expect a Republican controlled house to investigate suspected malfeasance on the part of a Dem President too. You know...like they did with Bill Clinton.

Actually, that's true...but in reverse and for you and woody. No matter how many times he is found innocent, or how innocent he is, you two will never accept it. You will never accept that if not for the democrats hatred and constant heel biting of the president, we would be living in the best time ever in our history.

Let's put this into perspective.
A cop pulls over a driver. The cop says let me see you license and registration, please. The driver does so. May I see your insurance card, please? it's done. Sir, I need to see all of your maintenance records. Why do you need to see those? Sir, I don't have to tell you why. Just give them to me. The driver complies.
The cop says, "Sir, step out of the car, please." The driver says, "Now wait a minute. Am I being charged with something?" "Sir, another driver said he overheard a conversation that you were speeding back a ways."
The driver says, "You've got to be kidding!" "Just step out of the car, sir."
The driver overhears the officer call for a drug sniffing canine unit. The driver says, "You have no right to do this!" The cop,"sir, I have every right, this is what I swore an oath to do."

Pretty much, Trump is this driver and Schiff is the cop. Schiff is making up the rules as he goes. He should have been immediately removed from the investigation after using parody as though he was reading it. Then again, he should have been removed from the chairmanship after it was discovered that he was a witness. He should have been removed from the senate for leaking chosen bits of information to make Trump[ look bad.

You said that Lindsey Graham said he wasn't going to read transcripts, that he already had his mind made up. Nancy Pelosi announced an impeachment inquiry before she had even read the complaint. Are you saying that Pelosi can do it but Graham can't?

You want to bet that T***p w*n't get impeached? That the evidence is bogus? That this was all a political rodeo to make Trump look bad for the upcoming e******n?
