What it boils down to ...

In the 2020 e******n, the whole thing will boil down to the WWE vs. PBS.
Let me explain ...

The WWE is based on pure raw emotion … you root for the good guy and boo the villain. It has nothing to do with logic, merely the posturing of the wrestlers and their assumed personas that motivates people to get involved. They boast, brag, tell lies about their opponents, and use dirty tactics when they think the ref isn't looking. The fans are usually working class stiffs taking out their aggression and emotional vindictiveness in a public setting rather than the confines of their home.

PBS, on the other hand, provides programming that requires thinking and analysis, and draws a totally different clientele. They take into account all the facts and make up their mind based on them, rather than any emotional attachment for the issue or candidate.

The two camps couldn't be farther apart ... and they are the two camps that will be competing for v**es in the 2020 e******n.

The Democrats are proposing programs and ideas to promote the growth of the country and benefit a large part of the population. Their ideas may not be finalized, but they are proposing solutions to perceived problems.
The Republicans are on track to increase the wealth gap, completely close the borders to any immigration whatsoever, cause 20 million people to lose their health insurance, and force the L***Q community back into the closet behind last year's shoes.

This is what the e******n boils down to … a cult of personality around one person who is primarily an entertainer, serial liar and master manipulator versus someone that will try to heal the wounds that have already occurred to our nation both internally and in the realm of foreign policy.

The outcome can probably be forecast already … emotional appeal always wins when pitted against intellectual brainpower. In a contest of brawn versus brainpower, brawn always wins.

You might want to rethink your treatise. It doesn’t have much substance and lacks depth.

Here’s an alternative point of view:

One side believes in common sense, realistic solutions and believes in the greatness of this country.

The other side is immersed in fantasy, delusion and socialist/c*******t ideologies.

Hi Brat... Have missed you...

Hope all is well...

Had to look up WWE... Not my cup of tea..

I'll go with your description... Sounds accurate..

Knew this one...

Not sure if they take into account "all" of the facts... But I get the idea...

For a minute I almost agreed with you...
Then I saw the next part...

Quote:
The Democrats are proposing programs and ideas to promote the growth of the country and benefit a large part of the population. Their ideas may not be finalized, but they are proposing solutions to perceived problems.

Every candidate proposes solutions to perceived problems... And believes that their ideas will benefit the nation... Not just Democrats...

Quote:
The Republicans are on track to increase the wealth gap, completely close the borders to any immigration whatsoever, cause 20 million people to lose their health insurance, and force the L***Q community back into the closet behind last year's shoes.

Wealth gaps been increasing for decades... Under both parties....

Haven't heard any Republicans wanting to shut down immigration... Just the illegal border crossing...

No one wants people to lose health insurance... But there are corrections to the system that need to be made... Neither party has a great solution..

The L***Qs are fine...
But lines need to new drawn...

You left real estate billionaire....
Heal the wounds? Like the past POTUS?

A democracy... That fickle b***h...

Sentiments like this were part of why Hillary and the Democrats lost so many followers...

Denigrating one side to a gaggle of unthinking, overly emotional Deplorables is rather condescending...No?

Great to have you back...

The OPP has been missing your wit and analytical charm

If brawn always wins then Republicans and Trump are in trouble. They represent the brains that won in 2016. Brawn has been fussing and fuming since 2016 refusing to believe that they lost. Brawn is not smart enough to recognize their failure.

Actually, I think that your analysis is garbage. Find a new excuse for the failure of your party. Look inward.

Perceived problems? Well, ok, here's mine. I live in an area where there is no access to cable television. I can go with satellite, but, it's dad gum expensive.
So, here is my problem if you don't mind listening to it, and possibly advocating to help solve it.
In my current state of television limbo, I can't recieve Fox News, and therefore can't be the ignorant, programmed rube that I'm accused of being.
Will the Democrats help to rectify this horrible situation for me?

Also, there is this g****l w*****g thing......It costs more to heat my house than cool it. When are they gonna stop the cold part, and save some energy?
I have a few more percieved problems (actually, a lot more) but I'll start there.

One of the things that the "Dumbocrats" are rolling out is called "broadband for rural areas". This would get you high-speed Internet at low cost. Hope it happens for you.

Ummmm ... if you've ever seen the crowd at a Trump rally, it's difficult to draw a different conclusion.

Thanks, Kyle ... I appreciate that.
Sometimes you just get burned out sparring with people that never debate issues and just deliver insults. But I thought that this topic would be interesting. I'm not disappointed.

In reference to the topic ...
If you contrast a Trump rally to a "dumbocrat" rally, there's no real comparison. At the Trump'orama, there's a lot of rah-rah-rah, fire-breathing rhetoric, disparaging insults, and lots of red meat for the base, while providing almost nothing of substance regarding policy and future actions. At a "lefty" rally, lots of oratory, but (with a few exceptions) a quieter crowd, not much fiery verbiage but lots of policy talk, and what the future holds.
I go back to the WWE/PBS analogy and just encourage you all to watch the audiences from both camps ... then draw your own conclusions.
