Ilhan Omar, at Bernie Sanders rally, calls for 'mass movement of the working class'

Ilhan Omar must think she's still living in some backward, 3rd world country. Somebody needs to tell her we don't have a 'working class' here in America. Today's factory worker or assembly line worker can be the CEO tomorrow. Maybe in Somalia where she came from, a person is destined to stay in the caste they are born in but in America, capitalism is our economic model. A model where whoever comes up with a better mousetrap can become the president of the company, or even the country.
She's also been given bad advice about not paying her lover, who masquerades as 'staff' from her campaign funds. Omar has so many skeletons in her closet, including marrying her brother, she's hardly anyone to be recommending another candidate. I'm surprised Bernie agreed to let her speak for him as a reference.

But "working class" is also the phrase that Karl Marx predicted, would rise up and destroy their bourgeoisie s***e master. Her use of that phrase is very telling.

If certain candidates tax wealthy people so much that they are left without their corporations and investments whom do they think they could bring in to take over the former income streams of tax money they paid. Perhaps they would make themselves the new owners of the businesses. They would make sure that people of their ilk could take over. Of course they would have to work more than two days a week.
One solution might be to sell all of our military equipment to China, Russia or other anti-american countries. Or the new management people might be certain politicians who could broker all deals and get a big finders fee.

Well, you're free to believe that blue collar workers are destined to stay blue collar workers. Or as you call them, the so-called 'working class'. My reality says that just ain't so. I've known far too many people who worked as blue collar workers and became white collar workers.
Working class conjures up caste systems. Where people are destined to stay in the caste they were born into. Dinesh DiSouza, who hails from India where they have a rigid caste system, has written a lot about it.

Working class individuals in many countries can improve their situation...

Now you are equating the working class with a caste system...
