Don't you wonder why the Democrats are so worried about having the whistleblower vetted and openly questioned? After all a few weeks ago he was the smoking gun that was going to bring Trump down singlehandidly.

The only reason you want to know who the whistleblower is is so you can slander them for the purpose of discrediting them. You can't argue against the message so you will do the only thing you can do and paint them as partisan Trump h**ers. That's conservative SOP which is why the whistleblower is being protected. There have been thirteen people testify so far and all have corroborated what the WB said so the WB is the least of your problem and 11 more are slated for the upcoming week. That's a lot of people for you to discredit and personally I think it's a task too great even for the Conservative propaganda machine. The whistleblower is the accuser, the law states you have the right to face your accuser. Give him protection, put him in a safe house, he could wear a hood for all I care. But the judge, lawyers, the accused and accuser should all see one another before the trail is gaveled into session. Then the defense can ask for an extension if needed.

What part of being a whistleblower don't you get? They are protected by law against revealing who they are. Knowing who this is does not change a single thing that is coming out against Trump and his people. What purpose does being able to "talk to them" do you think makes a difference to anything? The GOP have part of them that gets it, it serves no purpose and it's illegal to reveal who he is.
