Seems like a bit of a slam to me! A deceased uncle flew B24's and was part of the group that bombed the Ploesti oil fields and refinery in Romania during WW2 to stop Germany from oil getting those resources. His B24 was shot to pieces and only he and a gunner lived thru it. We've been protecting or destroying oil for a long time.
On the other hand, if you intended the meme to be a satire depicting what Progressives believe then I'm totally on board. Just got out of bed, haven't had a cup of coffee. Maybe I ought to check to see if my sense of humor slept in? 😁😁
