Trump thinks the secret service is responsible, congress needs to authorize the funding or they don't have the money. Trump, his campaign is stiffing cities for increased security...overtime, etc.

These are campaign rallies, nobody has a responsibility to pay for these, tax payers sure as hell don't have any responsibility for this...as a democrat do I want my tax dollars paying for i***t pep rallies? No... it's a campaign rally, the RNC needs to write checks for the security. It goes a step further, why should the government be paying for Air Force One, secret service details...any of it?

The RNC needs to step up to the plate and pay for this, they brag about record fundraising, write the checks to these cities, it's Trump change for such a wealthy billionaire as this guy claims to be. Trump said he was rich, he didn't need the government to be paying for anything...yeah right.

Meanwhile...and you can check this out, democraps, scum of the earth that they are, have said that their campaign funds will pay their bills for campaign rallies... they are in fact paying their bills for security to cities while the Trump machine refuses to pay their bills...exactly like Trump ran his businesses...

Oh, and Trump in Ireland gave a bill to the police for over a hundred thousand dollars for food, coffee and donuts to the police providing extra security, the bill is available online.

In MPLS. there were about 20,000 people in the arena and about 30,000 outside. If 1/4 of those people filled their gas tanks in MPLS. that would exceed $375,000.00 in business profits to MPLS. If you add to that the hotel, motel and restaurant purchases made by 1/4 of the attendees, that would provide MPLS with another $1,875,000.00. That is why cities try to attract Trump rallies. Since grandly announced public objections to his rallies are political and help the Democrats, maybe they should have to contribute too.

Maybe the attendance numbers can be disputed but I only figured the city's profit from 12,500 attendees and there were more that that in the arena.

BTW, candidates for all public offices pay their own bills for the venue rental and the t***sportation costs of their entourage, including President Trump.

This is old news. The local municipal city governments do not have, nor do they want to have, a contract with the Trump administration to protect their own citizens from those factors that attack the administration. Because there is no contract....again....NO CONTRACT between the Trump administration and local municipalities, you can't blame Trump. LOOK IT UP before you post nonsense.

Democrats though, dealing in good faith pay their bills for security, recognizing that it is a valid campaign function, taxpayers are not supposed to have to pick up direct costs associated with campaign rallies...

But we have to listen to right wing tripe such as "they want to attack free speech. Trump is free to step out on the lawn and speak whenever he wants, if he wants to do campaign rah rah rallies he can pay for them.
