The chance that tub of puss could throw a baseball the 60 feet is that of an ice cube in hell. He wisely doesn’t want to humiliate himself. Besides he will only show his mug in front of supporters in a normal public venue he would be booed out by the majority of the crowd and his ego is far to frail to live with that.

Did you ever consider the possibility that he just wants to watch the game and leave the attention on the players not himself? Trump may prefer positive attention (most of us would if we are being honest). Obama can't talk without praising himself a couple hundred times in a half hour speech.

That makes sense. Unfortunately, some in this country use violence to obtain their goals and I hope it can be seen as that and not a way of normalizing the violence.
