One can't help but notice that while some OPPers see themselves as informed, principled and honest...they often see others as not only ill-informed & wrong but hard-headed, stubborn, belligerent, int***sigent and incorrigible. I also suspect that most of us place ourselves in the first group and not the second.

I like to think of myself as open minded and willing to listen to other opinions. I don't like to listen to lefties who just participate in name calling and using profane language.

I've generally found you to be a very reasonable man, Hug.
However, I find either side who participates in name-calling and using profane language just as bad.
