Agreed...

Although it might be more character building to put him to work building the wall

It really astounds me that he is not already in jail for filing a false police report, especially one that stirred up racial tensions. It sends a wrong message to America. Michael Jackson, O.j.Simpsion, and now Smollett all committed major crimes and got away with it because of fame, fortune, and lawyers. So now people do things that they would have never done a few years ago and then lie about it. When the celebs lie, when the leaders of our country lie, when the once most trusted intel agencies lie, (the FBI and the CIA) lie, the citizens just fall right in and start lying about most things, especially their wrong doings.

AGREED. We had it right in the 50s when celebrities and sports figures were expected to be good role models, IMO

This is true.

I remember reading about Babe Ruth visiting a sick child in the hospital, promising to hit a home run just for him later that day, then doing just that.

Most athletes stayed away from politics and were excellent role models, and you never heard Hollywood celebs bashing a president the way they do Trump -- and obscenity would never occur to them.

The left has changed all that -- it's part of the propaganda/public indoctrination process.

Seems there is no 'justice' anymore. This Smollett thing is wrong... The Russia attack against Trump is wrong. This C**p de tat' mess now being held secretly is wrong .
If Justice is not done, we will loose our nation as a country for without rules, regulations and enforced LAWS it looses it's identiy as a nation.

We've already become a police state. All we do is copied. Point your finger and thumb at someone jokingly and you might get arrested. Free speech, go to a designated speech area to talk.
This is not the America this old 80 old grew up in.

I feel sorry for my grand kids.
Q. Is a 2nd civil war coming?
That's my question if something should happen to Trump like JFK.

Hi, okie don. I caught a video of Judge Napolitano on Fox news saying that the secret meetings stipulation was signed into law in January 2015 ago by John Banner and a majority of republicans. The rule says that this initial inquiry can be done in secret. What we have to keep in mind is that this is NOT a hearing, it's only an inquiry. Before there is a hearing, the evidence MUST be presented in public. Once the hearing is on, or if, then Trump will get all the rights he is supposed to have. We just have to be patient.
