A normal impeachment entails the DOJ calling for a special prosecutor who goes out and deposes witnesses, in secret hearings, drafts an impeachment document and presents it to the House of Representatives. Barr refused to do that, so the HOR are doing it themselves.
There are Republicans on all of the House committees that are holding hearings. They can ask any questions they want at the same time the Dems do. Since the Justice Department isn't doing the job, there is no other way to approach it.
That is how Ken Starr and Brett Kavanaugh drafted the impeachment for Clinton's impeachment. You need to complain to Barr.

Republicans are not excluded from the house committees. Where did you hear that garbage from?
Look up the house committee and you will find that there are almost equal numbers of R's as there are D's.
I guarantee there are no committees composed of only D's.
