I just looked at the #’s and I just don’t get it, why do we as a nation borrow a trillion dollars a year? And it’s not just like it’s trump, it’s every year for the last 15!!!!! That’s crazy!!!!!!

Yep, the numbers just came out for FY 2019. The government spent $900 billion more than they took in during the year. Tax revenues were up due to the roaring economy; but spending was up more.
