American western TV shows like Bonanza, Gun Smoke and others defined lynching and lynch mob. When a bad guy was caught and the town folk wanted to get him so bad, they would by pass the sherrif, break the bad guy out of jail and string him up. It was about mob justice without due process or trial. And, never once that I can recall was the bad guy a minority, ie-not white. I might be wrong about that.

Who here thinks Trump is using the word in the right context without casting some r****t disrespect on others of any race??

Also, once again I ask, what is it with the left that nothing can be said without having someone somewhere insulted or getting their little feelings hurted?? And how in the heck did y'all get that way??

By the way, did you see the video of Joe Biden calling the impeachment a lynching. I also saw one where a black congressman said he would not participate in this . . .lynching.

Enjoyed both of those. At least way back when, the liberals knew what words actually meant!

What the Dems are trying to do is more reminiscent of the Ox Bow Incident.

What Dems are really doing is following the Constitution of the United States of America in removing this criminal in the White House who thinks he's above the law
What Trump and Bill Barr doing are obstructing justice just more charges.

I spent the entire night looking through the constitution for the part where it explains how to leak information out of a secret hearing. Couldn't find it.

Your treasonous ilk and the Constitution are about as far removed as Mercury and Pluto.

Okay let’s just address your comments on insults. Why is it that this president every time he opens his fat (F) ing mouth he is insulting people that disagree with him. I noticed you never mentioned Trump and his constant flow of insults.
This country is at a point where insults is the only thing to use because the Trump degenerate only understands one thing and that’s insults they live on it they bread on it and it’s in there DNA.

Now Trump has lifted sanctions on Turkey as a gift for committing genicide and removing the Kurds from there homes and allowing Assad and Putin to move in and take over the region. And his team of degenerates love him for this policy.

(EVERY (F) ING THING TRUMP DOES BENEFITS RUSSIAN AND PUTIN BUT TRUMPS DEGENERATES IGNORE IT AND WON’T EVEN COMMENT ON IT. WHEN I ASK THESE DEGENERATES SIMPLE QUESTION THEY ANSWER WITH INSULTS) THEN WHEN I ANSWER THERE INSULTS WITH AN INSULT THEY CRY LIKE A 4th GRADER.

The President knew exactly what he was doing when he used the word lynching. He knew exactly the reaction the word would incur. He is playing the other side liked a fine fiddle. Mike

Not that it's relevant to this thread, but give examples of Trump insulting as you describe it.

And any comments you might have as relates to the term "lynch" would also be welcomed.

Really? I doubt it. And based upon the use as I have indicated, it is very applicable since the dems are, essentially, trying to by pass due process and get straight to the "h*****g," so to speak.

Most of the time in those old westerns, the lynching's were averted by the star,

and the alleged criminals were eventually cleared. Those old western always taught us a lesson.

That is why our parents let us watch them, despite the violence.
