Rep. Andy Biggs: The Pelosi-Schiff Impeachment Farce Has NO Respect for Due Process

The lack of "due process" is what makes this attempted c**p a complete farce. Why is it you people on the Left don't understand this? Once again getting there is all that matters? The end result? This is not how America conducts judicial inner workings by any means. Oh, that's right I forget. This is just some political bulls**t move which by its bogus conduct proves what a joke it really is. It's like trying a minority for murder when the prosecutor knows full well the accused is innocent. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/op-eds/rep-andy-biggs-the-pelosi-schiff-impeachment-farce-has-no-respect-for-due-process Because the process is so beneath anything imaginable in an American courtroom, I can imagine Trump suing for lack of due process and the entire case going up to the Supreme Court where it would be thrown out in a Trump New York moment.

If it were a court room which its not, at this point its an investigation think no grand jury makes its the deliberations public news. So why should this investigation at this point be open to the public. Trump doesn't get due process until he's actually charged with something so far he has not. At this point he should shut up and start cooperating instead of obstructing and telling everyone around him to obstruct

If Schiff were a member of a Grand Jury, hearing testimony,

his mouth would have landed him in jail long before now.

Maybe Rep. Biggs should read the constitution. After all this was the document he swore to uphold when he assumed his office.

Actually, this is precisely how we conduct a judicial inquiry. Take the Nixon and Clinton impeachments. In both cases, a special counsel (though I don't think they were called that) Jaworski and Starr were set up to determine if impeachment was warranted. And while there were leaks both were conducted in silence and it wasn't until a conclusion was reached that it was turned over to the Congress and, in Clinton's case, the Senate where a trial was formally conducted.

We would follow the same procedure here except for the fact that Barr wouldn't set up a special counsel to look into the events surrounding Trump's phone call to Ukraine. So without an investigation by the Justice Department, one is instead being conducted the Congress.

So is Trump being denied due process? Of course not. Nixon wasn't privy to Jaworski's investigation nor was Clinton allowed to muddle in the Starr investigation. No defendant is allowed into, what is essentially, a grand jury investigation. It's only when charges are made, either by the special counsel or in this case by Congress, that the defendant has a right to challenge the investigation.

Adam Schiff is so far removed from "playing fair", it's not funny. And on top of that we have to listen to his lies dealing with whistleblowers. Where are all those reputation-destroying whistleblowers? Or maybe they weren't whistleblowers after all? Are you so naïve to think this is going to go somewhere in the Senate? Can't wait until this whole charade (attempted c**p) is blown wide-open only to make Dems look like the fools that they are. Go Trump ~ four more years and maybe more. Be sure and watch next KAG rally and note the biggest crowds EVER!!!!!

Impeachment requires "due process", an inquiry does not. Why is everyone so nervous about a measly little inquiry?

When the Supreme Court makes a ruling you can bet your ass it becomes public. I see no reason for Trump to cooperate if a democrap lawyer tears their bulls**t case apart.
