There could be several reasons why. One could be that their tour isn't up yet. The other I think is if they have to be redeployed back they are only a few hours away and they can be easily deployed back

I don't know why, but 50k troops are headed from Tx to Iraq and that just the NG. They took kids from Ohio this time so it can't be earthshaking.

Amen!! I agree!!! We were only supposed to be there this last time was 30 Days, we are there for 18 years...give or take... and he did not "retreat" as the Dems say, but Pulled back, with the ultimate goal to bring our guys n gals Home from that s**t hole.. they have been fighting among themselves LONG before we got there, and will still be at it LONG after everyone is gone!!.. I say Bravo Trump!!.. WE never had an agreement with these Kurds that we would protect them forever...
