Maybe target should fail maybe they will take the wellfair company Walmart with them!
The 6 heirs of wallmat collectively make 6 million an hour and they won't give their employees 40 hours a week and decent pay nor health insurance! So their employees are eligible for food stamps in another state benefits so in effect Walmart is being subsidized by the government!

I have no argument with you on that, Lonewolf.

But; socialism/government control is a loser in most cases, as is Democrat control.

To All again: Grandmother...(his childen are my grandchildren...re read what I wrote) Sorry! It is very
common knowledge that the Federal Gov't subsides these lowly Walmart Employees (good description..
Welfare Company!) for their food stamps and healthcare and their needed things that the states pay for those employees trying to make ends meet. I believe it was stated it is 6 MILLION PER STATE per year. (When Hillary Clinton was once on Walmart's Board of Director's ...would we really be surprised?) It is
also the true story of Advertising. Years ago, they would advertise ALWAYS in their ads. Don't do that
anymore have noticed. They publish a few of those fantastic "loss-leaders" to get you "in" and then hit
you with prices that you can get almost anywhere. The POWER OF ADVERTISING...and people fall
for it. We are a gullible nation and the media leads us by the nose!
Also common knowledge, that the fee charged to get into one of the Walton Art Museum of a daughter's
art work collection is not feasible for an employee of the Walmart stores...a bit beyond their meager budget. And so it goes in America...

It’s too bad nobody could’ve predicted this!
https://f**gandcross.com/author/john/

Now that Target has caved to the liberal “fight for $15” mob, employees are suffering. What’s great is that you just know there were some left-leaning employees of the retail chain who fought for $15 an hour. And now, they’re paying the price bigly.

If only there was someone around to warn Target (and the radical left) that if you raise the minimum wage then businesses will be forced to cut workers’ hours, stop hiring, go out of business, and/or raise prices on consumers. Or…were there people saying that? It’s a mystery.

You have to feel bad for lefties, at times. You know, when they’re not violently harassing and attacking conservatives. These people just don’t know right from wrong; they know not what they do.

One of those 'be careful what you wish for.' Don't you think taxing corporations will have kind of the same effect?

Not sure what you are getting at, Rob.

Generally speaking; taxing has detrimental effects.
That is a reason the Constitution covers that.
Especially not taxing labor!!!

Sew What: Had to follow the before story....Medicare a gov't payment.. Walmart employees get food stamps and other gov't programs as Walmart does not pay them enough to keep them solvent with the wages
that Walmart pays them. We, in turn as taxpayers are paying for those pay-outs for Walmart's employees.. One employee told me that Walmart hadn't made a profit in three years...
and I only said ".....and you believe that?" They looked at me as though, "why would I question Walmart?"
Stupidity is as stupidity does, I guess.

Corporations and the government are slowly separating us from benefits that we have earned.

Every economist has said that boomers are destroying the future, when in fact, the tax structure was to ensure that corporations could hold down wages to report profits to sell more stock, and build infrastructure to support this false narrative. It siphoned ethical behavior and spawned competition. What does that mean: it created a tax right-off and spawned a tax legal industry, dev**ed simplifying the write-off. I've had at least 3 patents that couldn't more forward because some other team in the same industry was doing the same thing. We piss away our time making incrementally useless innovations for a tax right-off. Now, that's been taken away. Taxes are the only way corporations will stay honest. CEO's have no interest in competition, just profits.

Then that growth hit a wall. Now what. More government hand-outs to the wealthy?

Owned a corporation. Corporations have enough money to pay good money for those tax experts to
KNOW THE WRITE-OFFS that keep taxes down. Laughed and laughed at i***ts who think that Corp.
do their taxes like the common ordinary man and don't have the bucks to pay a LEARNED TAX EXPERT
TO KNOW HOW TO DO THE WRITE-OFFS....CARRY-BACKS ETC. Corp's will always have enough money
to gain the knowledge to fight "the system" of taxes. That is why the world went crazy and wanted to
know what Trump's taxes were. You think he is "dumb enough"...(don't kid yourself)...he has enough
people working on his finances to know the many many write-offs that keep that bottom line that
says...TAXES DUE. GROW UP IGNORANT PEOPLE AND START TO SMELL THE ROSES!
