I keep tampons and kotex in my first aid bag. Great for stopping bleeding. Pretty much sterile too. If they are needed, sterility isn't that much of a matter right then. Mike

Actually, they are very sterile and great for absorption so are maxi pads its what they are made for can be used like ABD pad for absorbing drainage in an emergency hey it works
