Interesting story which leave so much to be conjured by your own view of early man..

Over a 1000 years before Jesus walked the earth with his message of love and forgiveness, it seems mankind was willing and able to cross continents to fight and die for some reason, forever known only to the souls who marched.

Not very long and begs for more information. It is so interesting, maybe even unnerving that I had to post it..

Maybe...

I was thinking more about how wars are bought these days...

And the effect that media has on public opinion...

That sort of reflects on one of the questions it brought to mind.. How did they get these people, apparently a large number, to all support and journey so far to fight for,,,,What??

Puzzles me what could have been so important to so many people..

wish they could solve the puzzle for me and publish a history of the complete event and its driving forces..

Yep... My thoughts exactly...

Maybe it's just me romanticizing the past...But seems to me they would have needed to have felt pretty deeply about this cause to have cone so far and sacrificed so much...
