There was no quid pro quo. OOPPS, Mike Mulvaney just admitted there was a quid pro quo, and we just have to live with that as a fact.
If you want to defend Trump, you either need to lie, act like you are stupid, or actually be stupid.
For all of you smart defenders of Trump, you need to come up with a new lie. For the people pretending to be stupid, keep right on, you're doing fine. For the people who really believed it, you should know that Trump will throw you under the bus anytime he wants to. Watch out for the tires.

There’s going to be political influence in foreign policy....The money that was held up had nothing to do with Biden."
He said that asking Ukraine for help in an investigation into the 2016 e******n was an ongoing Justice Department investigation and "completely legitimate."
Trump has already said the money was held up because of the process of releasing military aid - he was concerned that other countries were giving money to the Ukraine and whether the US was giving too much - he wanted to compare notes to see of the country was getting s**mmed.....again. The funds were released on September 11 - held up for only a couple of months.

Mulvaney said the Trump administration's review of U.S. aid to Ukraine took into consideration Kiev's willingness to crack down on corruption and the extent to which European nations were contributing security assistance to the country.

And that's one of the things Trump wants to get to the bottom of. They try to unseat him for nearly three years and when he goes after them for doing exactly what they accused him of they go berserk! And I guess they should cause it's gonna hurt/ it's gonna leave a mark!

You still don't get it. Withholding money authorized by Congress for anything is an impeachable offense.
In the negotiation process of deciding whether to pass the aid in the first place, your argument has merit, as much as I h**e to say. If it happens after the fact it is illegal.
Our country should not have to ask another country to do our political dirty work. That is technically illegal also, but it is not as blatantly wrong as withholding funds.
Regarding the DNC server in this debunked conspiracy theory, lit is sitting in the DNC headquarters server room. Crowdstrike is all bs.
Don't try and tell me that Trump is out fighting corruption. All he has to do is watch Ivanka get 5 Chinese copyrights on her recent official trip. Look at Jared getting a large loan from the Saudi's. Gee, I wonder why we are sending troops to Saudi Arabia when Trump says he is trying to bring our troops home from the ME.
