Go ahead...shoot the messenger. The fact that about 100 Republicans v**ed on the resolution disproves your original assertion that only Trump h**ers are against the Syria pullout.

What you're missing is that the Syrian border is not the issue. The issue is the abandonment of an ally to their sworn enemy. Until you get that, you will continue to post this sort of nonsense.

What you're not getting is that the US had 28 advisors with the KURDS and the onslaught WAS going to happen whether they were there or not. That would mean 28 dead American Troops. President Trump did the right thing. Now I wish he'd pull everyone out of Afghanistan. Mike

I don’t think this is an impeachable thing. It is not something that I can agree with in as much as it does hurt our allies and no doubt will allow ISIS to rebuild and start more trouble, but I have to believe that Trump has his reasons. This is one decision he’s made that I find hard to agree with.

Look we have been in that country for 19 YEARS we have trained and armed the Kurds and like any guardian its time to let them stand on their own feet and fight if it freedom they want they will fight for it like we did and other countries over the years.I just read a remark by a Turkish football player here and he said FREEDOM is not free there is a price. We only had 1200 at most over there to begin with and those were separated into teams that were in different sectors. Even if they were together in one place their presence would not tip the scales if the Turks started dropping bombs they are not supermen they are not baby sitters and they are not the internation police

It's not just the fact that we abandoned the Kurds, which is disgraceful in itself, it's that we also told Turkey that they could go ahead and k**l the Kurds. The Turks have always h**ed the Kurds, and they will go after them with all means available.

The only reason the Kurds are in Syria is because the US asked them to be there. We have supplied the Kurds with the equipment to fight ISIS. They don't have the hardware to fight without our help. Hell, they can't get away from Syria without our help.

Can't you see that?

Thank you, thank you very much for stating the obvious. It's so incredibly stupid, it's downright incredible to believe that our Congress cares more about what is going on in Syria, than what is going on in the region of our Southern Border.

It is rather incredulous that people snipe at Trump for the exact same crap that Obummer did. How many Jhadists did Obummer "trade for Burgdahl?" Now that was truly the height of idiocy.

You have it backwards. It was Obumer that put kids in cages. The photos the Dummycrats use to say Trump locks children in cages are actually photos taken in 2014, under Obumer and it was Obumer that traded 5 major taliban terrorist for the deserter Bergdahl. Facts are facts!

The Kurds have always been in Syria as well as in Turkey and in Iraq; the greatest fear Turkey has is the three contiguous Kurd regions will get together and fight for a united Kurdistan (as they had been promised). If this happened, Turkey would lose a good part of eastern Turkey. I don't think the Iraqis care that much about losing their part but Syria has just indicated they have no interest in a Kurdish self-governing part of Syria so it doesn't look like the Kurds are going to get their Syrian-Turkish-Iraqi Kurdistan any time soon but they will continue busting the stones of all three countries, also indefinitely.

Thanks for that information. I was under the impression that were indigenous to northern Iraq, south eastern Turkey, and western Kazakhstan. I do know that several of the Kurd fighters in Syria were brought into Syria by the US. I didn't realize a bunch of them lived there until now.

The US did bring in a bunch from Iraq, well trained and experienced dealing with ISIS in Iraq.
