Impeachment hearings should not be secret.

Democrats held two straight Intelligence Committee hearings on Trump-Ukraine in secret, reports the Washington Examiner’s Byron York. Two more scheduled for this week will be closed, too. Yet “there could not be a matter in which the American people have a greater stake” than the impeachment of a president, and neither hearing has apparently involved “highly classified matters.” Chairman Adam Schiff insists he is only complying with a law protecting whistleblowers from exposure, but the statute in question allows for disclosure in the course of an investigation. Bottom line: Democrats can’t forever keep “vital information away from the American people” in the name of preserving the whistleblower’s anonymity. “The impeachment proceedings should be opened up — now.”

Of course they should be done openly so that Trump's merry band can get their stories straight. What makes an investigation and hearings subject to getting to the t***h is when one person doesn't know what others who have knowledge that affects them are saying, it leaves people with an assumption that they have spoken the t***h so they better too.

There is much coming out that is clearly not going well for Trump, not to mention people are starting to get that this is an investigation centering on criminal activity so there is absolutely no executive privilege for anybody including the president, let alone people who no longer work for the white house.

In the end, if there is an impeachment trial, it all comes out. All becomes public, even the identity of the "whistleblower." That's a fact, even in the statute. LOLOL! I think Schiff and Pelosi think they can continue this charade for the full year up until about the e******n and at that time, v**e to impeach. The e******n would be long over by the time the trial commenced and would only occur if Trump wins.

They will want, at the very least, delay impeachment until such a time as early v****g can commence. Bottom line, they want Trump to be under impeachment suring the last parts of the campaign such that any impeachment trial in the senate could only occur after the e******n is complete.

The left thinks a candidate under impeachment with an up coming impeachment trial could not win. I would not hold my breath on that.

The whistleblower did his thing and blew the lid off of what he and many other top officials had a problem with, there is nothing about the whistleblower that will change a thing, it doesn't matter if he was a rabid trump h**er, he reported facts and the t***h and that is the end of the story.

Even Bolton told other top people to go to white house attorneys to tell them what they knew that was a problem, now there are even more people involved who should have put a stop to this.

Official national business has protocols and channels things are done in so as to prevent presidents and their people from doing things that are not in the national interest, this is what Trump was violating with Giuliani.

Until we all get to hear the testimony of the witnesses in context and completion, we really don't have a clue. The leaks you base your claims on are as selective as that which you hear from CNN/MSLSD. In other words, meaningless. And that's the goal, isn't it?

THERE WILL BE NO ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT NOR V**E IN THE HOUSE. None. If they did, there would be a trial and the identity of the whistle blower would be revealed and we would have the full t***h which I suspect would not have the same tone as the leaks you guys are fed by Schiff. LOLOL!

What part of "Intelligence committee" did you not get? With the possibility of classified info being discussed, only those with appropriate security clearances can be present.

What you're really upset about.......................is not knowing what explosive and damning evidence is being uncovered.

It is difficult to understand "intelligence committee" when Schiff is heading it up.

And again, until it's out in the open, there is nothing explosive nor damning. In fact, the republicans hearing it in the committees are very anxious for it all to be released to the public. I think the true nature of the dems and the hearings will come to light. It is for that reason I think this will d**g on right up to the e******n with narry one article of impeachment nor a v**e to impeach. We know.

I can guess what they are saying or doing. "Do you have anything?" "No, do you?" And it goes around like that for hours. Then guppy comes out with a smile. If you've noticed fish have one look on their face, it never changes.
