Jeremiah chapter 3

Verse 1 and 2

God is as offended with idol worship as a husband watching his wife kiss another man. In spite of this, we can all repent.

Verse 3 - 5

Two useless activities are blame and regret. If you don’t hold yourself responsible for every situation you find yourself in, your situation will never change. Blaming someone else is a waste of time. Another useless activity is regret. We should learn from our mistakes.

Verse 6 - 11

Some churches won’t let you teach Sunday school if you are divorced. In the 8th verse, we see that God is divorced.

Verse 12 - 15

As long as we are alive, there is a chance for repentance. That is why we shouldn’t point fingers.

Verse 16 - 19

One day, God will write His law on our hearts.

Verse 20 - 25

One day, all of the children of Jacob shall return to the Middle East.
