Tax Revenue to the Federal Govt. at an all time high.

Trump's caught hell for the deficit. The lefties on OPP never saw a tax cut they didn't h**e. I had problems with some parts of this last tax cut. Mainly I would have required that Corporations have a choice. Except Corp. tax rate and guarantee no stock buybacks for four years. Or don't get the new Corporation rate and have all the buy backs you want. Secondly I would have off set government spending by reducing it dollar per dollar that actuaries say tax cuts cost. Having said this, the tax cuts worked as advertised. How can you blame spending on any President? Yes, they have an agenda and have to sign the budget, with the proverbial "shut the govt. down" gun to their head. It is congress that spends our money. Under Trump policies the government has taken in more tax revenue it todo than any time in our history. So put the blame for most of the deficit where it belongs. It's just math.

Amen and Amen any and every country that says death to Israel and death to America receives no aid whatsoever that would be a start anyway. Then go from there.

Based on population growth tax revenue is generally at an all-time high each and every year. The exceptions are for recessions but even then that doesn't hold true all of the time. So to measure whether tax revenue actually grew you have to figure out the YoY for each year and work out a running mean. If the tax revenue is above the mean then you can make an argument for the tax cut increasing tax revenue. If it's below the mean than the tax cut failed cause growth.

Or, you can just be a typical dumb conservative and claim that the tax cut caused revenue to grow and because you all are too stupid to prove anything different everyone assumes it's true--especially since it fits what you already believe...

If it gets any higher, we’ll be in the poor house. On top of this, everyday I get a letter from some group either saving social security or trying to get seniors a raise and asking this senior for financial support. I was suckered into this three times. No donations to anyone. If Mr. Neff is reading this, stop wasting your time.

This is only partially true. The Republican party controlled the Senate, House and President for two years. And of course the President can always veto the budget bill sent to him.

You're an indoctrinated low brow. It's math. If anything our population has been increasing due to more poor people that don't even pay federal taxes. So, congress doesn't spend too much and according to you the population must not have grown at all under Bush and Obama. You should take a beginners econ. class troll but it wouldn't help. You're too low I.Q.

Read the entire post. i said the President has to sign it but usually under "threat" of a shut down. The Congress is the House and the Senate. Both parties spend to much.

Haven't you ever heard of a p**********l veto? If either side is spending too much why isn't Trump shutting them down? And don't blame Democrats here. Trump had two years of Republican House and Senate so if there was any overspending it was with Trump's approval...unless of course, Trump is too stupid to know what either one of them is up to. My money is on the latter and if that's the case then the problem is you for helping to put his sorry ass in office...

Can’t you comprehend troll ? Where did I say Presidents can’t VETO? I’m blaming all of Congress you ignorant little baby. Not just this congress. This craps been going on forever. We all also know if Trump or any other Republican President threatened a VETO you and the snowflakes would run crying he’s shutting down the govt. I’m sure your worried about your govt. subsidized goodies. More was spent under Obama in 8 years than all Presidents before him. Bet you didn’t say a word. You’re a joke.
