I do not think anyone on OPP has promoted the idea of a secret b****t to impeach the sanctimonious object sitting in our white house.

but I still want to push a bit on the why not ideas.

And this absolutely is not excusing the dumb head from forbidding the several people to testify to congress today as they were set to do.

Do you even know why we have f-ing impeachment, and one of the reasons that the OLC policy is to not indict a sitting President?

One of the biggest reasons is because if you can indict and prosecute a sitting President you are basically allowing a single prosecutor in the country to basically have the power to get rid of a President and overturn the will of an e******n. All they have to do is find only twelve favorable people, or even 1 favorable judge.

Instead the remedy is impeachment, which is basically a Congressional indictment, and a trial by the Senate to either convict and remove or acquit. This allows the people’s ( the House) and the State’s (Senate) representatives to be the ones to overturn the will of v**ers in the removal of the President. If you can impeach and remove THEN you can indict. It makes elected officials take responsibility for removing the ultimate elected official in our system. Representatives (people elected by the people) can be held responsible. These people, representatives, MUST fear the people! Secret b****ts when it comes to office holders is more likely to make people fear their elected officials instead of the other way around. There is no way to know how anyone v**ed and no one gets held accountable if they muck it up. That sucks.

See if you can get this through your thick skull; impeachment is to remove officials who have committed serious infractions, not Presidents you didn't v**e for. There is NO legitimate reason for impeachment but it will happen nonetheless b/c all the Democrats need to impeach is the requisite number of v**es, which they have. What will NOT happen is conviction b/c, and I repeat myself, Trump has done nothing that would warrant impeachment or removal and the Republicans will not be complicit in this banana republic c**p.
