Verse 1
Burden means bad news. Nineveh was the capital of Assyria.
Verse 2 - 6
Vengeance is mine says the LORD. Christians should lead humble lives until God lifts us up. God not only rules heaven and earth, He strengthens and uplifts us..People are corrupt and deceptive. In no way does man compare to God.
Verse 7 and 8
God wants a relationship with all of us. But we must follow Him through obedience. Those that disobey hurt themselves.
Verse 9 - 14
God can take you out with one shot. Read Galatians 6:7..
Verse 15
Read Romans 10:15.
