He's actually a good guy.
My friend worked for FEMA and she knows Willie well.
Her and his daughter are friends.
During Katrina, she had to go find bodies.
She called him and told him these poor people are in this shelter with nothing to do.
Would you send a TV? He showed up with one.

Down Texas' way, Willie is known as 'good folk'...one of the guys.

I live about 10-12 miles from his hometown of Abbot, in Central Texas.

I'm not cynical, I'm a realist. John Lennon's Imagine is total Utopian bulls**t.

No doubt a good show, Blade. But, I was kind'a referring to one of his outdoor concerts...such as one of his 4th of July picnics. I've been to two of 'em, and they are quite the eye-opener insofar as the compatibility in the mixing of various classes of Americans. Apparently, love of good music heals the fissures of political or ideological differences...again, even if only temporarily.

It seems to get worse with every Republican president.
When Obama was there, they never called him out for anything.
They didn't even jab him about corpse men.
I thought that was dumb.

There may have been a few jabs but none that lasted for weeks on end.

First, I was turned off by the language which is permitted/encouraged today because our Constitution was used against us to promote public obscenely as a freedom of speech issue by those who intentionally advocated public obscenity, including every conceivable type of pornography, for profit. Most folks no longer find obscene language that offensive, including myself, because we simply got used to hearing it. Has it made us better citizens? I also find it inconceivable to compromise my faith, values and morality to promote a false harmony with those who intend to fundamentally change America into a moral relativistic nation. It makes no sense to me to help sow and cultivate the seeds of our destruction with civility being a greater good in resisting evil! Don't understand why so many believe they can feel good by doing wrong.
