You mean, AFTER saying he'd follow Senate rules, which require a trial if the house passes articles of impeachment? Oh wait, you said he did this at a fundraising event. That explains it, when you want their money, tell them wh**ever they want to hear.

No,Mitch said he will take in inquiry,but he can block impeachment trial itself.....In other words it could be the shortest trial in history!!!!

I don't know how he can stop impeachment, when each side has to prove their argument before the complete Senate for a v**e, after all arguments and if any proof is provided or proper arguments against such proof as admitted to be factual or not.
