How is it possible that in the United States Congress, equal representation is forbidden… and only republican members of a committee are being prohibited from asking any questions during a session today with Ukraine envoy Kurt Volker?

But, that’s what Adam Schiff told them yesterday.

Many people consider this an outrage and republicans are demanding equal representation. Especially given the fact that Schiff has been caught lying and withholding info from republican members of the committee.

Fox News reported:

House Republicans are demanding an “equal playing field” in the Democrat-led impeachment probe against President Trump after Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said ahead of Thursday’s scheduled testimony from former U.S. envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker that GOP members of the Foreign Affairs Committee will not be permitted to ask questions or have equal representation during the session. [It helps when you get to rewrite the ‘rules’ for whistleblowers too.]

Volker is scheduled to be the first key witness to testify as part of a probe into an anonymous whistleblower’s complaint about a July 25 phone call in which Trump asked Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Democratic p**********l candidate Joe Biden’s family’s dealings in the country.

The interview will be behind closed doors.

The lead Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee wrote Wednesday evening: “I was alarmed to learn – less than 24 hours before the first interview is scheduled to start – that it will be led by the Intelligence Committee and that questioning will be done solely by their staff.”

“We were told that only a single Republican professional staffer from the Foreign Affairs Committee will be allowed to attend while the majority will have two,” Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, the committee’s ranking member, continued. “These constraints on committee and Republican participation are unacceptable and at odds with House Rules and general fairness. We demand equal representation and participation in this inquiry, there is too much at stake for America and Congress.”

We will have to wait and see. I don't know what resources they have available to them at this point.

It’s definitely unfair, undemocratic and I dare say, against the Constitution. Trump said today that every normal American had the right to face his accuser. Of course
Donald Trump is different which is why they cannot stop investigating him. Schiff must have been crowned by Satan to hand out justice to suit the EvilOne.

True but I think that the GOP is waiting to see if they go ahead and impeach the President and then it will go to the senate and there Rudy Giuliani will be able to call witnesses and have them testify before the senate and that will open up the questioning to Barack Obama on down and they can call anyone and everyone and the democrats are afraid of that. That will rip the lid off of the deep state and expose the whole lot of them and they can't afford that.

Quite a number of them are lawyers and should have no problem filing a few subpoenas of their own. I can’t believe they just let it slide by. If they don’t stand up to be counted, we should replace them with honest businessmen a la Trump.

Good reasoning, but I can’t wait that long.

Will you stop this BS the republicans have been doing the same BS for years when they had the majority. The committee is set up with 7 dems 6 republicans so 2 democratic staffers will ask questions and 1 Republican. Can you imagine allowing an AH diary Farmer named Nunez to make another mid night run to tell the real estate agent that went bankrupt 5 times what’s going on in a classified meeting. You can’t let these Republicans in that briefing that info will be in the hands of Trump before the gavel drops. Then Trump can head to the bully pulpit to destroy Volcker before the evidence is brought before the House on impeachment and the American people. It’s not to stop the republicans to litigate they will have the chance once the evidence is compiled. It’s to stop that POS in the White House from doing the same GD things he did with Muellar and his degenerate base believes none of the Muellar report they just believe what that pathological liar in the White House says.

I agree keep those AH out till all evidence is in. These GD republicans have been pulling that Sh$t for years.
