Actually just taxing them at the rates that existed in the 50s would pay for an immense amount of good. Repair of our infrastructure and properly funding education at all levels for starters with no harm to anyone.

Didn't those 50's rates go up as high as 90%? Personally, I do not believe in taxing more than about 33 1/3%, which should apply to all taxable gains above $30 Million, or, something like that. The exact percentage and maximum gain numbers should be debated in Congress, of course.
I have yet to see a provisional budget from the Left that includes all of their fanciful ideas for comparison with the provisional budget of the Right. That comparison alone would sink the Democrats in 2020, I believe!
