I Googled it and this report appears to be true. Feinstein violated her committee's precedent by not disclosing this fact! She seems to mixed-up in a lot of things behind the scenes; Kavanaugh's accuser, Chinese driver & who knows what else over the years. Perhaps, someday we may find out how deep her violations go!

Mostly because it was the campaign of Jeb Bush who initiated that investigation, who dropped it when he realized he wasn't going to get the nomination, and it was Jeb himself who handed the details to the Clinton campaign, which picked it up.
