My Thoughts on Impeachment (Not a hisory lesson)

Democrats have demonstrated over the past three years that they will do anything, say anything, and entertain any outlandish theory if it means removing Trump from office and undoing the 2016 e******n.

It all started in Dec 2016, the reason…..Trump should not have won.
And then for most of 2017, Trump didn’t liquidate his global business interests upon taking office, he would be in violation of the emoluments clause.
2017 to 2019, Russian collusion
2018, obstruction of justice on Trump for his firing of FBI director James Comey,
2017 to 2018, payments to Stormy Daniels, questions about Trump’s tax returns, and allegations of sexual assault.

Point is….None of this, in the minds of the vast majority of Americans, ever approached a justification for impeachment. A Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday found that just 37 percent support impeachment. A Monmouth poll last month showed just 35 percent support. Furthermore, A recent Economist/YouGov poll found job approval of Congress at just 14 percent, I suspect that number has gone even lower.

And now Democrats has found their smoking water pistol, again, the gun to bring down President Trump. A complaint from a CIA plant that heard from the media and people who said someone told someone who told him the content of a private phone call.

Just to joggle your memory, during the e******n campaign, many senior intelligence officials publicly threw their weight behind his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, and have since launched investigations into possible Russian ties to his campaign, his advisers, and his business interests. Former acting CIA Director Michael Morell even went on record to say that “Putin had recruited Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.” Interestingly, Morell walked back his accusation of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians, with NBC News quoting him as saying, “There is smoke, but there is no fire—at all.”

Immediately after the release of the transcript of Trump’s call with Zelensky, a host of media outlets omitted a 540-word section of the conversation to make it appear that the “favor” Trump was asking for had to do with investigating former vice president Joe Biden and his son H****r’s questionable dealings with a Ukrainian energy company. In fact, the “favor” Trump asked for was help with an investigation into meddling in the 2016 e******n.

Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee and one of the highest-profile Democrats calling for impeachment. Schiff eroded his fading credibility by reciting his own, made-up version of the Trump-Zelensky call during a congressional hearing, rather than simply reading the released and unredacted transcript.

I suppose that the Democrats think this will sway v**ers and ensure a 2020 win. I think it will have a very different outcome….US citizens do not trust anyone in DC, but they have noticed that our stock market is doing well, unemployment is low, for the first time in too many years people are seeing larger pay checks, and the import of i******s has stopped.

The import of i******s hasn't stopped; it's just slowed from a tidal wave to a storm surge.

True, but we do not import them anymore. We still have i******s who are crossing the border, but we are not populating entire cities with unvetted individuals.

Liberals are such hypocrites. Just substitute Trump and his son for Biden and his son in the same situation with Trump bragging about coercing a foreign leader to fire a prosecutor investigating Eric. The dens would rightly want him in jail.

I haven't seen any evidence. Simply smoke. Biden was in all honesty too stupid, he flushed himself. There WAS a quid pro quo there. He was withholding $1.5 Billion until they fired the prosecutor. Nobody has shown me anything on Trump. It's pretty easy to do, just copy/paste a link. And not the Daily Kos. I used to read it until I understood that it wasn't even fit to line my mom's birdcage.
