Nothing to show he had done anything illegal. As President, he has the right to ask for help in identifying corruption in our government no matter who is involved. He didn't ask for anything that was illegal. The President, no matter who he may be, has more authority to conduct business or to investigate corruption from anyone in our government, with any country, but not to make treaties without the consent of Congress. Nothing illegal about this call, except for the person, that was not a whistleblower since he/she didn't have firsthand information but only given to them by an inside operative which is illegal, but since the President is a Republican that is what makes the difference to you far left leaning people. This allegation couldn't have been written by this person, It had too many legal terms and couldn't have been written by a lay person. What I have heard is the law firm that helped this person write this attempt to discredit this President, has been known to pay money to people, that supposedly have dirt on a Republican. I don't know if that is true or not, but it should be investigated. It sounds exactly like the Russian collusion attempt to get rid of the President.

It may discourage future presidents from committing crimes which is just fine with most Americans. As far as business with other nations if it is a genuine national security issue it remains classified. And you are correct JFK and Ike, both decorated combat veterans that served our nation with dignity are likely rolling in their graves. There has never been an investigation into what Biden did in the Ukraine when telling them they had to fire the prosecutor that was investigating the company that Biden's son was a board member. The Dems seem to think that is normal procedure. He threatened to withhold funds unless the prosecutor was fired. May or may not have been intimidation of a foreign government. Trump withheld those funds at least a month before the phone call that has raised so many eyebrows and their was no mention of those funds being withheld by Trump in the said phone call under this claim and from what I have heard he had released those funds before this phone call. This may or may not be true but that is what I have heard.You really need to find out the true facts without believing what the progressives tell you to believe. At least I try to be as factual as I can be by what is reported. You seem to believe wh**ever the MSM say is the real t***h, which, in the past has been proven to be lies many times before.

You seem to ignore the fact the transcript was written by not one person but a number of people. Then put together as the transcript. How on earth could that have been taken other way than as a factual account of the conversation. Multiple people used what they heard and combined all of the conservation they heard into a transcript. T don't think all of them or if any were Trumps admirers. The call isn't recorded, that is why they have a number of people listening in and then collaborate to make the transcript. Duh!
